APLICOR DATA CENTERS

Aplicor data centers are built with redundant systems, diverse fiber entrances, isolated power distribution and veteran IT expert staff to give our customers the utmost in security and reliability. The Aplicor data center facilities include the following equipment and infrastructure:

• A history of 100 percent data center and network uptime since 2003
• The only data centers with N+2 hardware and network redundancy for absolute fault tolerance
• Data centers offer hot-site cut-over to live stand-by sites for complete infrastructure transfer
• Unparalleled backbone connectivity via redundant Gigabit circuits, a diverse, fiber-based network with BGP-4 routing to the major Tier-1 providers including AT&T, BellSouth, MCI/UUNET, Level (3), NTT/Verio, Global Crossing, Allegiance, Progress and Cable & Wireless
• Data center communications capabilities include multiple-path entry fiber facilities, fully meshed OC-48 redundant fiber optic rings, redundant OC-12 fiber optic rings and multiple points-of-presence in various cities including the NAP of the Americas
• Standardized best-in-class network equipment from Cisco, servers from HP and fibre-based storage from EMC. All Cisco equipment is configured for High Availability (HA). All servers are HA as well as purpose built for redundancy and high capacity. Data storage is optimally mixed using EMC fibre channel SANs (storage area networks) and NAS (network attached storage)
• Uninterrupted AC and DC circuits to supply equipment. Redundant UPSs protect each 20-amp or 30-amp circuit and filter the power feed, compensating for surges, high-voltage spikes, switching transients, sags, electrical line noise, frequency variations and other conditions that prevent the proper operation of equipment
• Redundant power via Liebert, APC and BEST battery solutions, Thomson power transfer switches, diesel powered generators and fuel supply reservoir for extended continuous run-time operations
• Redundant HVAC systems and environmental monitoring to ensure facilities operate between 68-72 degrees Fahrenheit and 45-55 percent relative humidity. Air filtration levels maintained at 90-95%
